Overview/Mission:

• Freeport Community Services (FCS) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to: 
• Provide a forum for assessing community needs 
• Facilitate programs designed to address defined needs 
• Provide information and referral concerning social services and other human needs 
• Help people access services 
• Provide direct services when appropriate including the operation of a food pantry in order to provide free emergency food for people who need it in our community and to 
• Provide opportunities for community members to support and participate as volunteers in a continuum of activities to benefit the community.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Transportation:

FCS is in need of volunteers to drive residents to medical appointments. If you would like to be a substitute driver or can commit to a day a month for helping our home bound neighbors get to their appointments, please give FCS a call at 865-3985 

Farm Market Day:

FCS is looking for volunteers to pick up food at Shop 'n Save on either Monday or Wednesday mornings for our farm market days. If you have a van or truck and can spare the time, please call FCS at 865-3985.
