FREEPORT PROJECT REVIEW BOARD

5:00 p.m. - The Board will hold a sitewalk at the Recompence Shore Campground meeting at the existing office located near the pole barn.

ITEM I: Approval of the minutes from the March 12, 2008 and March 26, 2008 Project Review Board
meetings.

ITEM III: Design Review Certificate
Mediterranean Grill – School Street – Awning
The applicant is seeking approval for a Design Review Certificate to install two retractable awnings over the outdoor seating area at their restaurant on School Street. Design Review District I - Class C property. Tax Assessor Map 11, Lot 99. Cigri Properties, LLC, applicant and owner; Tina Cigri, representative.

ITEM IV: Approvals
Recompence Shore Campground – Wolfe’s Neck Road
The applicant is proposing site improvements to the existing campground on Wolfe’s Neck. In addition to upgrading and reconstructing portions of the existing facilities and utilities, reconstruction of cabins, a pavilion, expansion of existing buildings, and new and expanded recreational facilities are proposed. The number of camping sites will not increase. This project will be phased. Tax Assessor Map 24, Lots 60, 61, 61A, and 63C. Wolfe’s Neck Farm Foundation, applicant and owner; Tim Kittredge, representative; John Orcutt, Architect.

LL Bean – Cross Street Parking Lot – PUBLIC HEARING
The applicant is proposing a new 72 space parking lot at the end of Cross Street. An existing dwelling will be removed. Design Review and Site Plan Review are required. Design Review District I- Class C Property. Tax Assessor Map 11, Lot 31. LL Bean, applicant and owner; William Conway, Sebago Technics, representative.

Freeport Sewer District – Control Building Upgrade
The applicant is seeking approval for a 30’ x 40’ addition to the sewer control building at 43 South Freeport Road. Tax Assessor Map 4, Lot 9. Freeport Sewer District, applicant and owner; Woodard and Curran, engineers; Tom Allen, representative.

Shaw’s at Freeport Crossing – Lower Main Street
The applicant is seeking approval to construct a seasonal greenhouse (21’ x 36’) in the parking lot. A Site Plan Amendment and Design Review Certificate are required. Design Review District I – Class C Property. Tax Assessor Map 7, Lot 1, & 1-1. W/S Freeport Properties, LLC, owner; Shaw’s Supermarkets, applicant; Rene McCalum and Ryan Vanier, representatives.
